Shutters

Industrial exhaust fan shutters are a critical part of any commercial or industrial ventilation system. These automatic or gravity-operated shutters help control airflow, prevent backdrafts, and protect exhaust openings from dust, rain, insects, and debris. Installed on the intake or outlet side of wall-mounted or roof-mounted exhaust fans, they open when the fan runs and close when it shuts off — improving energy efficiency and system lifespan. Made from high-strength aluminum or galvanized steel, industrial fan shutters are built to withstand harsh environments, high airflow, and continuous-duty operation. They are commonly used in warehouses, factories, commercial kitchens, agricultural buildings, greenhouses, and other high-ventilation settings. Available in multiple sizes and styles — including motorized, gravity-fed, and backdraft dampers — these shutters are easy to install and compatible with most commercial exhaust fans. Whether you’re replacing old louvers or outfitting a new ventilation system, industrial exhaust fan shutters help maintain safe, efficient airflow and meet indoor air quality requirements.
