Aluminum Sheave Housing

The Aluminum Sheave Housing slides onto the flange of an aluminum cradle beam. Then the housing secures to the flange with the mounting fasteners. Made from 6061-T6 US aluminum. Features a no-weld design. The size of the web and flange determines which size housing you will need. All three sized housings accept sheaves up to 4 in. in diameter and 3/4 in. width. The beam size is measured by the web height. 6 in. web (4 in. flange), 8 in. web (5 in. flange), and 10 in. web (6 in. flange).

Mounting fasteners, sheaves, or axle bolts are not included.

* – Based on I-Beam Ratings. BH-USA rates the individual blocks based on the rating of the beam that they are designed to fit. BH-USA bases this on structural aluminum I-Beams 4.03#/ 4.70# and 8.64#. Each block is individually rated, multiply this rating by the number of blocks to help determine boat size ie: 4 blocks each at 2,000 lbs lifting 8,000 lbs. combined.
