12 in. Compounding Block Hanger for Wood Beams
The 12 in. Compounding Block Hanger is an angle that allows you to hang a block and terminal the cable on the other mounting hole. Features (2) .688 in. holes and (1) 1.125 in. hole on each side of the angle. The wood beam mounting holes accepts bolts up to 1/2 in. in size. Mounts to wood beams. Made from 1/4 in. hot-dipped galvanized steel. Measures 2 3/4 in. L x 2 3/4 in. W x 12 in. H.
The 1.125 in. hole fits BH-USA ball-bearing blocks. Allows room for the shackle to move for the block to track as the cable wraps onto the cable winder or drive pipe. Ensures cable stays on the sheave. You can dead man the cable to the same block hanger as the blocks. The hanger keeps the cable parallel with the rest of the cable like its compound. This keeps you from having to use a second wood beam.
