Boat Cradle Guidepost
The boat cradle guideposts are attached to the guidepost stanchion on the bottom of the boat cradle. The diameter of the outer tube is 2 3/8 inches and the inner tube is 2 inches in diameter. The tube is made from PVC 1120 type 1 sch 40. The wall thickness of this tube is approximately 3/16 inches. To allow water to drain when lifting and lowering the boat, the top cap is drilled with a 1/4-inch diameter hole. It is made of ASTM D 2665-certified PVC. The drain hole can be found in the white cap that is attached to the end of the white pipe.

PVC Schedule 40
Extremely durable, with high tensile and impact strength. Unlike PVC Schedule 40 DWV Foam Core, this material is easy to install and provides better sound absorption.
