The 3 inch Galvanized Yarding Block Kit includes a sheave, sheave housing, and a shackle. There is a weight capacity of 1,500 pounds (750 kilograms). Cables with a thickness of up to 5/16 inch can be used with the sheave. It measures 3 inches in diameter with a groove of 1/2 inch. The coated sheave has a 1/2 inch bore, which allows the boat lift cable to move smoothly through it. Sheaves are protected from rust by the coating. It has a removable shackle that can be easily replaced and installed. With the shackle, the block is able to track with the boat lift cable. Sheave center to shackle top is 4 1/2 inches. It has an opening of 1 inch for a shackle. It weighs 2.25 pounds each.

Install the shackle, feed your cable into the sheave, and then use the shackle to hang the block. This will allow the yarding block to move in the same direction as the cable.
