Flat-Plate Hoist Hanger for Steel Beams

The Flat-Plate Hoist Hanger for Steel Beams features an adjustable frame with built-in drive pipe support sleeves. The hanger clamps onto the steel beam, I-beam, or channel. Made from hot-dipped galvanized steel. No welding or drilling is required to install.

The hanger and backup plate use the included fasteners to grip around the steel beam. The hanger works in either center or side mounting installation. Includes enough room in between the two drive pipe sleeves to mount a cable winder. The sleeve fits 2 3/8 in. OD (2 in. ID) drive pipe.

Never attempt to straight-line lift any more than 4500 lbs on a side mount overhead lift or straight line more than 6000 lbs on center or twin mount lifts. Only use the full length of the pipe to connect both pipe supports.

Do not attempt to use two short pieces of the drive pipe. If designing or engineering your own overhead lift you must download and read the BH-USA overhead lift guide that can be found on this page and in the tech guide section. BH-USA makes available complete engineered and rated lifts and highly encourages choosing this option over designing and engineering a lift on your own.

The above ratings of the dual pipe supports are only valid if installing or using the pipe supports in accordance with the BH-USA overhead lift guide. The Side Mount and Twin Mount ratings are based on straight line pull, by compounding the cable you will increase the rating. Rating is based PR pipe support and not pr lift. When considering the weight of your boat you must use full wet weight plus the weight of the cradle.
