GCA20 20-Amp 120v In-Line GFCI
The GCA20 20-Amp 120v In-Line GFCI is a rainproof, Outdoor rated GFCI Module. Fully complies with NEC and OSHA regulations for construction sites. Automatically resets to ON when plugged in or after power interruption. Power Indicator lamp goes OFF if GFCI trips, power is interrupted or the GFCI is unplugged. Open-Neutral Protection immediately trips the GFCI if the neutral conductor on the line side is opened, eliminating the possibility of the GFCI having a live hot leg. Specially designed NEMA 3R, Raintight-While-in-Use cover available. UL listed; complies with UL Standard 943 as a Class A GFCI power supply. CSA Certified.
User attach design allows for adding to pre-existing electric service by the user. It allows the installers and the end-users to have more options with plug lengths and pigtails. Class A rainproof automatic GFCI resets. The module comes with easy installation instructions. It includes all fasteners. To replace, cut the line and install the GFCI on the control cable.
What is a GFCI?
A ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI), or Residual Current Device (RCD) is a circuit breaker. This device reduces the risk of electric shock. It shuts off an electric power circuit when it detects that current is flowing along an unintended path, such as through water or a person.
