Thiswarranty is strictly a manufacturer's defect warranty. If a manufacturer’s defect is found,BH-USA with either repair or replace the Elite electric motor that is found to be warrantable.BH-USA prides itself on transparency, which is why we feel it important to inform you that thelikelihood of a manufacturer’s defect is almost zero. In most cases, if a motor will start to run, there is no defect in manufacturing. This does not mean that there is not an issue withyour motor, but it is usually safe to assume the issue is something other than manufacturing.The shipping costs associated with sending in a warranty are at the consumer’s expense. This issue is commonly caused by either low voltage, improperinstallation, or attempting to lift too much weight for what your lift is rated for.BH-USA does not recommend attempting to send this in for warranty. I have read and understand the above Burnt Up Motors Burnt up motors are not considered a manufacturer defect and are not covered underwarranty. If your motor has any type of burnt smell or shows signs of being burnt up, BHUSA does not recommend sending this in for warranty. The most common cause of a burntmotor is incorrect wiring and or operating under low voltage or high AMPS. I have read and understand the above Warranty Coverage Motors are covered under warranty for one year from the date of purchase. If the motor wasnot purchased directly and there is no proof of purchase provided, BH-USA will base thewarranty on the serial number associated with the motor. If no serial number is found,there is no applicable warranty. BH-USA does not recommend sending in this motor for warranty if it has been more than one year from the date of purchase. I have read and understand the above Water Logged Motor A motor found to have water inside of it is not considered a manufacturer’s defect. Thisincludes but is not limited to motors that have been submerged, experienced a hurricane or tropical depression, or been through a flood. These motors potentially have rust built up inside and BH-USA does not recommend submitting these motors for a warranty claim. I have read and understand the above Modified Wiring Motors found to have been wired by consumers or their electricians that are not found to have been wired based on our provided wiring guidelines are not considered a manufacturer’s defect.
